Krones is the world’s leading manufacturer of beverage production systems. As part of a comprehensive technology shift, the company planned a new Human-Machine Interface (HMI) — based on modern web technology, usable across different screen sizes and devices.
Initial Situation
With the Connected HMI, Krones has a platform for all machine types in beverage production. The Krones design system, however, was not yet designed for the HMI area and needed to be extended for mobile use on desktop and mobile devices.
